Markopolofilms aims to produce 2 films a year in the $2 - $5.5 million budget range for theatrical release.
Another 2-3 films will be made straight for video.
Our films are made all over the world. We employ the global concept both in our business style and our stories.
Co-production between different countries is our main financing strategy. Bringing characters and stories to life that are as universal as they are culture specific is our creative vision.
Markopolofilms is not genre or category specific. We are currently developing fiction and documentary films.
Most are feature length, some are shorts and many of them are hybrids of genre and form.
Our films come mostly from "the family" - our in-house team of writers and development executives, but we also consider outside material.
